Welcome to Snikrah Music. This site is the home of songs written and produced by Joe Harkins.
What is a Snikrah? A pesky venomous rodent? Perhaps a small country in Eastern Europe? Nope, Snikrah is simply my last name spelled backwards. Pretty clever, huh?
Actually my mother gave me the nickname "Snikrah" when I was about 10-12 years old. (She also gave it to a bright yellow "smiley face" ceramic bank I made for her in junior high school). Here's hoping that the word Snikrah doesn't describe an Asian sex act, or a body part or an appendage in another part of the world.
It has taken me nearly 4 years to complete the demos of these songs. I am continuing to work on new material to add to my book of songs. I hope you enjoy the results of my favorite new hobby - songwriting.
